MH01 - Restored Rustic House, Mollet de Peralada: Welcome to the wonderful world of architectural heritage and fine dining . We present Mollet de Peralada , a place that is not only enchanting for its location amidst three natural parks , but also a historical treasure: a house built of reeds and river stones over 300 years ago. This establishment has been completely renovated , preserving the essence of its original construction while adapting to the needs of modern life. Comprising three intimate rooms, each with its own personality and ambiance, this restaurant can accommodate up to 35 guests. The first room on the right is the main dining room, where you can enjoy the chef s wonderful cuisine in a traditional and welcoming atmosphere. This room features six large tables, each one meter by one meter, a counter/cabinet, and an antique kitchen that serves as decoration. The central room is the reception area, with an electric entrance door that opens automatically upon the arrival of guests. To the left, two restrooms with a waiting bench and, behind the entrance curtains, three more tables of the same size for enjoying a private lunch or dinner. The third room has two tables and an electronic sensor-activated fire door, which leads to the chef s work area or, sometimes, to diners when a reservation is made. This space is equipped with a coffee maker, a glass washer, a wine and beverage refrigerator, and a professional kitchen meticulously designed for comfortable and precise work. Precision ovens , a central kitchen, refrigerators, an ice cream freezer, a dishwasher, and a sink for washing pots and pans—everything necessary to prepare the most exquisite dishes. The upper floor is equipped with a freight elevator and stairs leading to an office with two refrigerators and an industrial freezer, a refrigerated wine cellar, a pantry, a staff room with lockers, two restrooms, and two showers. In addition, there is a private section used as an apartment with two double bedrooms , a living-dining room with an open-plan kitchen, and a dressing room with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in shower. At the rear of the restaurant, you can enjoy the 193 m² terrace , complete with a pergola and an antique fountain. The terrace features a covered utility shed and an enclosed tool shed. Planters with climbing plants and flowers create a relaxing atmosphere on this quiet cul-de-sac. The village s public parking area , with over 30 spaces, is located opposite the restaurant.
